    Description: The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $1,200,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds.This NOFO seeks to provide technical assistance to the Ministry of Health (MoH) to strengthen its organizational capability to plan, coordinate and manage the HIV/TB response. Activities will include strengthening the leadership capacity of national program managers and assisting the MoH to ensure that the program organizational and governance structures progress in line with evolution of the HIV/TB response, the national strategic plan, the MoH’s priorities, and Eswatini's health regulations. The NOFO also seeks to strengthen the MoH organizational structures to conduct targeted and coordinated resource mobilization (both domestic and international) and management of donor funds in line with local public finance requirements and statutes. The recipient will collaborate with the Kingdom of Eswatini's central government agencies and other stakeholders to strengthen the MoH management, operations, accountability, and reporting structures. The recipient will assist the MoH to develop a health sector workforce plan that is responsive to the status of the HIV and TB epidemics and other emerging public health threats. The recipient will work with relevant government ministries and entities such as the health services commission to strengthen the MoH staff performance management, oversight and accountability systems.
