    Additional Information on Eligibility: Approved residency or advanced education programs in the practice of general, pediatric or     public health dentistry, which may include dental schools, public or private not-for-profit     hospitals, or other public or private non-profit entities, including faith-based and CBOs such as     FQHCs, CHCs, Rural Health Clinics, Tribal sites, or Critical Access Hospitals; local health         departments; or public or private not-for-profit entities which the Secretary has determined is     capable of carrying out such grant or contract.

    Description:

    The purpose of the Postdoctoral Training in General Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, and Dental Public Health program is to improve access to, and the delivery of, oral health care services for underserved and vulnerable populations. Grants under this Notice of Funding Opportunity will prepare general, pediatric, and public health dentists to practice in, and lead, new models of oral health care delivery by supporting innovative postdoctoral dental residency and fellowship training programs at community-based organizations.
