We will invite experts to assess the quality of your application and rank it alongside other applications. The panel will also take a portfolio approach to ensure that where possible there are high-quality projects funded across the remits of the research councils.
After this the panel will make a funding recommendation.
UKRI will make the final funding decision.
We aim to complete the assessment process within one month
of receiving your application.

These are groups or networks of people that have formed due to commonality, either in their research/innovation discipline; the workflows and tools that they use; their job specialisation; the objective to build new infrastructures or capabilities.
There are hundreds of different job titles within the spectrum of ‘DRI professionals’. DRI professional is an umbrella term that includes digital researchers, specialists and research technical professionals (RTPs).
