    Armed Forces Covenant Fund: Apart, not alone programme

    Under this programme, the Trust will award grants of between £5,000 and £15,000 for projects that will help to mitigate the impact of long or frequent involuntary separation for families, spouses, and serving personnel, including reservists and their families.

    This programme aims to mitigate the impact of long orfrequent involuntary separation* for families, spouses andserving personnel, including Reservists, and their families.This involuntary separation can have significant impact ondifferent aspects of family life. This might include, but is not limited to, emotional wellbeing, mental health, social connections, and overall family dynamics.

    *By involuntary separation we mean where the serving person cannot return to their normal duty station or family home due to the nature of the assignment e.g. an overseas deployment

    We invite applications from:

    • Registered charities with substantial recent experience of supporting Armed Forces communities.

    • Community interest Companies (CICs) with substantial recent experience of supporting Armed Forces communities.

    • Armed Forces units or bases.

    The Trust are looking for projects that address one or more following outcomes:

    • Reduced impact of separation, loneliness, and isolation for Serving families. 

    • Improved mental health and wellbeing for Service families. 

    • Enhanced access to support and activities to improve quality of life. 

    • Support personnel to reintegrate into family and units post deployment.

    If you apply by 12 noon on 25 September 2024 you willreceive a decision before end of December 2024.
